JACKSONVILLE, FL – PlattPointe Capital is pleased to announce the successful placement of $6,100,000 in acquisition capital for a St. Johns riverfront mixed-use land parcel in Jacksonville, Florida, located in one of the city’s most vibrant and walkable districts. The Sponsor plans to develop the land into an iconic, full-service hotel with 500 keys, including 350 hotel rooms and 150 branded condominium residences. This prime riverfront location sits adjacent to Jacksonville’s booming sports and entertainment district, which is anchored by the recently approved new NFL stadium and an indoor arena. The district will also be home to a new amphitheater, hospitality developments, an office tower, the Museum of Science & History, and a Triple-A baseball park undergoing major renovations.
This transaction marks the seventh closing between PlattPointe Capital and a Texas-based family office real estate platform. The family office partnered with the developer on the land acquisition. A creative financial structure enabled the acquisition to close by the purchase deadline, continuation of the final permitting process, and project planning to move forward.
